What makes Aromanosis Medicinals difffernt?

What makes Aromanosis Medicinals different?

When you take a supplement or any other form of  ‘natural medicine’ which you have purchased, do you take the time to consider where it has come from? Or do you just pop it into your mouth and assume that the physical constituents within will do its magic? The physical constituents do have a strong effect, but the real magic lies within the vital force of the plant and this is only harnessed within a medicine if it is harvested and created with intention and connection.

Unfortunately, due to consumerism, we have lost our connection to our medicine and with this loss of connection we have also lost much of the healing energy and vital force of the plant.

The medicine of creating with intention

Consider the vitamins or herbal supplements you purchase. Even if they are made from organic plants, they were likely planted with machinery, harvested by machinery and then created by machinery. All before being exported to various locations for purchase. The energy involved is VERY different from a plant which is tended with love and then prepared and blended with the intention in mind to create a healing medicine.

Plants are like crystals in that they absorb the energy which they are exposed to. This means that the person working with the plant has a strong influence over the energy (and thus medicinal quality) of the end product.

With this knowledge in mind I only ever come into contact with the plants when I am feeling centred in my heart space. I also chant mantras and imagine healing light throughout the process. This energy work is what is missing from commercial offerings. We have disconnected ourselves from the very essence of life force which is the biggest healer of all.

When I harvest plants it is always done with intention. I never harvest, prepare herbs and flowers or blend teas if my energy is not in alignment with the given intention. I ask the plant permission before I harvest, I never harvest so much that the plant is damaged and I always leave flowers for the bees.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a big enough garden (yet) to grow all the plants I use. The plants I purchase come from Organic sources and I spend time with them when I receive them to connect with the vital force and ask that the healing energy of the plant be present for the medicine I am making.  When I do this, I often feel a great sense of eagerness from the plant I am connecting with and the energy of the physical plant in front of me increases significantly.

When energy is paired with traditional knowledge of plant constituents and affinities there is a little bit of magic that happens. The products you purchase from Aromanosis have this magic infused within them but I invite you to strengthen it further by taking the time to take your medicine with your intention in mind. With this added connection, you will be surprised at the changes which can occur.

All Aromanosis medicinals are created with great intention and focus. The plants within each blend are chosen for their ability to balance and strengthen specific areas of the body, mind and spirit. They are also connected medicine, where the spirit of the plants are honoured and thus invited to work through the tea you drink...

How to make infusions & decoctions

A medicinal tea is generally made in one of two different ways, an infusion or a decoction. Both are very easy to make but using the right technique can be the difference between a beneficial constituent bein extracted into your tea, getting destroyed or not being extracted at all.

In general, fragile plants and those with volatile oils (essential oils/strong scent), ie flowers and leaves, are best extracted by the infusion method. And the medicine from roots, barks and tough leaves are best extracted through decoction...
